What an inspiring show curated by Grant Gibson and his team at Material Matters! We’re delighted to have been a part of this debut exhibition for London Design Festival 2022.
Alongside so many innovators, we showcased new lighting and furniture designs by our sister brand & start-up Spared.
At Spared, we create meaningfully designed surfaces and products for organisations from their own waste streams. Our start-up has been busy during its first year, with commissions from Virgin Voyages, Dodds & Shute and a number of UK interior and architectural practices. Additionally, our team launched the XOU light in collaboration with HouseOf earlier this year. The XOU light, along with other handcrafted objects made from waste were on display at the fair, and our team was on-hand to talk about the process.
Our designs demonstrate the versatility of waste to be transformed into objects of beauty, ideal for use in commercial interiors, as well as to create special pieces for the home.
